How to Use the Structural Independence Assessment™

What this assessment reveals

Most businesses grow successfully for years while still running on personality, urgency, owner memory, and effort.

That works — until it doesn’t.

As complexity increases, those invisible patterns begin to create pressure. The Structural As complexity increases, those invisible patterns begin to create pressure. The Structural Independence Assessment™ helps you see the architecture beneath the revenue — clearly and without judgment.

In about 10 minutes, you’ll understand:

  • Where decisions are currently concentrated — and why that creates a ceiling
  • Where your systems are inconsistent or missing entirely
  • Where your team lacks the structural clarity to act independently
  • How ready your business is to leverage AI strategically — not just tactically

Three Simple Steps to Get Your Score

This is not a test. There are no wrong answers. The only thing that matters is honesty. The more accurately you score each statement, the more useful your results will be.

1. Download the assessment from your email

Look for the email titled: Your Structural Independence Assessment from Angie at RAD Strategic Partners. If it’s not in your inbox within two minutes, check your spam folder or search for Structural Independence.

2. Score each statement honestly

Use the scale provided:

  1. Not true at all in my business
  2. Rarely true
  3. Sometimes true
  4. Usually true
  5. Consistently and reliably true

This is about visibility, not perfection. Score what is actually true today — not what you’re working toward.

3. Add up your total score

Your final score places your business into one of four structural categories. Each category reveals where your business currently sits on the spectrum from survival-driven to structurally independent — and what that means for your next stage of growth.

The Four Structural Categories

Each category describes a stage of structural development — not a judgment on your success or your effort. Business owners at every revenue level show up across all four categories. The score simply reveals where the architecture is strong and where it needs attention.

No matter where your score lands — you now have clarity. That’s the starting point for every RADical transformation we’ve been part of.

Want a Second Set of Eyes on Your Results?

The score is useful. What it points to is more useful. Many business owners find that once they have their number, the most valuable next step is a 30-minute conversation to understand what that score actually means for their specific business — and what one structural shift would create the most leverage right now.

During a Structural Clarity Strategy Call, we will:

This is a no-pressure conversation. We’re not here to pitch — we’re here to be useful. If it makes sense to go deeper together, we’ll talk about what that looks like. If it doesn’t, you’ll leave with clarity you didn’t have before.

Structure Creates Freedom.

Businesses that scale sustainably are not built on effort alone. They are built on clarity, systems, and the kind of decision architecture that allows the business to operate with or without the owner in the room.

The Structural Independence Assessment™ is simply the first step in seeing clearly where that structure already exists in your business — and where it can be intentionally strengthened.

Wherever your score landed today, you now know something most business owners never stop long enough to see.

That’s RADical.
